the stars look very different today
the stars that are you

"are you somebody elses star now?"
and you said nothing at all

the night the stars fell
the last stars were still visible
in your still eyes
"tell the sky, i defy you stars"
a tearful gaze turns away

and then you left
alone in the night
where the cold wind blows

all alone on a starry night
the wind blew the stars away
tonight stars are falling

the wind is blowing so calm
still searching skies
nothing fills the emptiness
when night has fled
maybe its just too late for me

i always wish on stars
and so it goes
